Dr Gill is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in surgery of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder.

Dr Gill obtained his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2005, was appointed VMO to Hunter Area Health and established a private practice in Newcastle in 2005.

Following completion of MB BS at Sydney University Medical School Dr Gill completed his post graduate training in Newcastle. Starting at John Hunter Hospital in 1995 as an intern he remains committed to Newcastle, providing compassionate Orthopaedic care to his patients, timely and efficient care to injured workers and assistance to his colleagues.

Since his appointment as VMO Dr Gill has served the area health service in such positions as Bone Bank Director, Registrar Training Supervisor and he remains a committed member of the John Hunter Hospital Trauma roster.

With 13 1/2  years of constant active involvement with trauma on call at the John Hunter Hospital has made Dr Gill one of the leading trauma orthopaedic surgeons in the Hunter Area. Dr Gill’s strong interest in Trauma surgery extends to his private practice where he has a special interest in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder and general orthopaedic conditions.

Dr Gill operates a solo practitioner orthopaedic surgery service based at 57 Lindsay Street, HAMILTON which is in the centre of Hamilton, Newcastle NSW. Dr Gill treats all types of orthopaedic surgical problems, including traumatic injuries and chronic conditions.

Dr Gill interests include the Hip, Knee and Shoulder and he offers patients an extensive range of Arthroscopic and Joint Replacement procedures.
